Christopher Edwardson, MD

Dr. Edwardson is a family medicine physician, who has been practicing in Dallas Oregon since 1983. He received his medical Training at the University of Saskatchewan in Canada, with a term  in Christchurch Public Hospital, New Zealand, and is a diplomat with the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Edwardson and his wife Jeanne, a native Oregonian, just celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary, with two daughters and seven grandchildren keeping them busy. In his off time, other interests include scuba diving, beach combing, real estate, vintage cars, and a lot of special affection for their labradoodle Barley!

During the past 38 years of practice Dr. Edwardson has served as president of the local medical society, lead numerous medical missions trips to Africa, Central America and South America, was appointed for 20 years as the Polk County medical examiner and 15 years as the county health officer; he has served on the hospital board in Dallas, and as a proctor for nurse practitioner and PA training for Oregon Health & Science University.

Dr. Edwardson enjoys the full scope of family medicine, caring for patients of all ages. He is committed to the principles of holistic medicine and encompassing the physical, social, mental, and spiritual aspects of each individual’s care. Dr. Edwardson considers it a great privilege to care for entire families in the community that is his home.
